Arq. Paula Femenias
The architect Paula Femenias will describe, in her presentation, the work developed by Universidade de Tecnologia Chalmers (Chalmers Technology University) about the development in practices through demonstration projects. She will also talk about the importance and her contribution in the development of sustainable construction in Sweden.
The architect will describe the evolution of the sustainable construction practices: tools for the analysis of the buildings life-cycle, integrative design process, among others, and the evolution of the awareness and interest in the market. Paula emphasizes one of the works developed at the University, a model of support and promotion for the transfer of knowledge and new experiences based in personal communication through workshops, where the professionals and researchers exchange experiences.
Eventually, Paula will discuss the absorption of this knowledge for the organizations, the importance of internal and external communication, and the development of future demonstrative projects.
